Background: To investigate the prognosis of longitudinal health-related quality of life (HRQOL) during concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) on survival outcomes in patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).

Methods: During 2012-2014, 145 adult NPC patients with stage II-IVb NPC were investigated weekly using the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire core 30 (EORCT QLQ-C30) during their CCRT period. Background And Purpose: Nab-paclitaxel is a promising albumin-bound paclitaxel with a therapeutic index superior to that of docetaxel, but the optimal dose of nab-paclitaxel combined with cisplatin and capecitabine as induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy for patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma remains unknown.

Materials And Methods: This was an open-label, single-arm study investigating the safety and efficacy of nab-paclitaxel + cisplatin + capecitabin as IC for three cycles, followed by cisplatin CCRT, conducted by using the standard "3 + 3" design in LA-NPC. Immunotherapy combined with antiangiogenic targeted therapy has improved the treatment of certain solid tumors, but effective regimens remain elusive for refractory recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (RM-NPC). We conducted a phase 2 trial to evaluate the safety and activity of camrelizumab plus apatinib in platinum-resistant (cohort 1, NCT04547088) and PD-1 inhibitor resistant NPC (cohort 2, NCT04548271). Methods And Materials: One hundred fifty-six patients with stage III-IVb and pretreatment Epstein-Barr virus DNA levels of ≥4000 copies/ml were randomly assigned to receive CCRT combined with TIL infusion (n = 78) or CCRT alone (n = 78). Aphids display wing polyphenism, and the mother can produce a wingless morph for reproduction and a winged morph for dispersal. It is believed that the wingless morph is an adaptive status under favorable conditions and is determined prenatally. In this study, we have found that winged nymphs of the pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum, can change from winged to wingless during normal development.
