Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease which also encompasses significant alterations of the mesenteric lymphatic system. Whether these changes are a mere consequence of, or directly contribute to the inflammation is unknown. Here we characterized the spatial and temporal development of these events in the TNF mouse, which develops CD-like ileitis and significant mesenteric lymphatic alterations.

Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the common malignant tumors, and most patients with advanced GC often develop chemotherapy resistance, resulting in poor chemotherapy efficacy. Therefore, it is crucial to clarify the specific mechanisms of their chemotherapy resistance. In this study, we analyzed the correlation between fos-related antigen-1 (Fra-1) and chemotherapy resistance in GC using bioinformatics, cell counting kit-8 (CCK8), and 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EDU) combined with flow cytometry; furthermore, we used energy metabolomics sequencing, combined with ChIP-qPCR technology, to elucidate the specific role of Fra-1 in chemotherapy resistance of GC cells and its related mechanisms.

The aim of this study was to find out the optimal cut-off point based on the number of MLNs and establish a modified AJCC staging system for ICC according to the new N category.
Methods: A total of 675 ICC patients diagnosed between 2004 and 2015 were retrieved from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database.

A large number of neutrophils infiltrate the lymph node (LN) within 4 h after skin infection (4 h postinfection [hpi]) and prevent systemic dissemination. It is not clear how infection in the skin can remotely and effectively recruit neutrophils to the LN.
