Objective: Knowledge of proper collection, storage, preservation, and processing techniques is critical to ensuring proper handling and analysis of fluid cytology specimens. This study was conducted to determine the effect of anticoagulation, pre-smearing acetic acid treatment technique, and saline rehydration technique on morphological assessment, reproducibility, and reporting in fluid cytology.
Material And Methods: The study was carried out in the cytopathology laboratory over 2 months (April-May 2022), where 100 effusion samples were analyzed.
Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) is a noninvasive squamous lesion that is a precursor of vulvar squamous cell cancer. Currently, no screening tests are available for detecting VIN, and a biopsy is performed to confirm the clinical diagnosis. Despite sharing many risk factors with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, the diagnosis of VIN is poses challenges, contributing to its increasing prevalence.

Objectives: The 70% screening coverage target proposed in the global cervical cancer elimination strategy is not achieved even at tertiary centres in India. A situational analysis was done to assess the currently existing facilities and barriers in tertiary care institutes.
Methods: This cross sectional multicentric study was conducted from August to September 2021 in six tertiary care institutes across India.
In low-resource settings, a point-of-care test for cervical cancer screening that can give an immediate result to guide management is urgently needed. A transvaginal digital device, "Smart Scope" (SS), with an artificial intelligence-enabled auto-image-assessment (SS-AI) feature, was developed. In a single-arm observational study, eligible consenting women underwent a Smart Scope-aided VIA-VILI test.

Methods: Opportunistic screening of women (30-50 years) coming to the gynecology clinic by VIA was performed; the screen-positive women were included in the study which had the institutional review board (IRB) approval. A cytology slide for p16 immunostaining, colposcopy, and biopsy was then performed sequentially.
In India, there are marked variations in resources for cervical cancer screening. For the first time, resource-stratified screening guidelines have been developed that will be suitable for low middle-income countries with similar diversities. The current article describes the process and outcomes of these resource stratified guidelines for screening and treatment of preinvasive lesions of cervix.

Ascites, adnexal mass and elevated CA125 levels almost always suggest advanced ovarian carcinoma. We present a case of a 37 years old multiparous lady who presented with such a classical picture. Radiological picture was suggestive of ovarian carcinoma with peritoneal metastasis.

Pregnancy in these patients carries a high risk of maternal and fetal mortality. With advancing gestational age, these women may develop cardiac failure due to increased cardiorespiratory requirements.

In this paper we discuss the use of augmented forces such as haptic guidance in our laparoscopic simulator for improving learning curve. A simple virtual environment has been designed to simulate advanced MIS tasks such as cutting.

Objective: Prognosis of patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is generally poor. Cisplatin is the most effective drug. We used three cisplatin based chemotherapeutic (CT) regimens and retrospectively analyzed the data to determine the response rate, toxicity, survival and the impact of various prognostic factors on the outcome.

This is part of a larger project to investigate the feasibility of using EEG to allow paralyzed persons to control a device such as a wheelchair. EEG signals from four subjects were recorded while they performed two mental tasks.
