In the last 8 years 15 cases of Meckel's diverticulum were observed, 6 of them with complications: three times inflammation (with two perforations), each once invagination, incarceration and occult bleeding from carcinoids. All complicated and 7 bland diverticula were removed and the intestine oversewed. The postoperative course was normal.
