Objectives: is a gram-negative anaerobic bacillus associated with colorectal cancer (CRC). We aimed to determine the abundance of . and other CRC-associated bacteria using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) analysis to detect the possible correlations between tumor and normal tissues and the relationships between patients' clinical characteristics, diet, and CRC-associated bacteria.

is a Gram-negative, invasive, obligate anaerobe in the gastrointestinal tract microbiota, associated with various clinical conditions, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Here, we announce the draft genome sequence of two strains Fv36kaz and Fv63kaz from patients with CRC in Kazakhstan.

Background: Higher positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) during laparoscopic surgery may increase oxygenation and respiratory compliance. This meta-analysis aimed to compare the impact of different intraoperative PEEP strategies on arterial oxygenation, compliance, and hemodynamics during laparoscopic surgery in non-obese patients.

Methods: We searched RCTs in PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Google Scholar from January 2012 to April 2022 comparing the different intraoperative PEEP (Low PEEP (LPEEP): 0-4 mbar; Moderate PEEP (MPEEP): 5-8 mbar; high PEEP (HPEEP): >8 mbar; individualized PEEP - iPEEP) on arterial oxygenation, respiratory compliance (Cdyn), mean arterial pressure (MAP), and heart rate (HR).

Introduction: Neurosurgical spinal surgeries such as micro- discectomy and complex fusion surgeries remain the leading causes of disability-adjusted life-year. Major spinal surgeries often result in severe postprocedural pain due to massive dissection of the underlying tissues. While opioids offer effective pain control, they frequently lead to side effects, such as post-operative nausea and vomiting, pruritus, constipation, and respiratory depression.

Vesicovaginal fistula with stone is an infrequent condition; therefore, it can be often misdiagnosed. The formation of vaginal stones is mainly due to urinary stasis and infection. We describe the case of a 69-year-old patient who was diagnosed with a vesicovaginal fistula in 2012.

Aim: To analyze the composition and molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance of Gram-negative bacteria - pathogens of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in adult patients living in the city of Almaty.

Materials And Methods: The study examined the etiological composition and antibiotic susceptibility of clinically significant isolates of bacteria and fungi ( more or equal 103) isolated from the urine of the patients of the Department of Urology of the Almaty city Central Clinical Hospital No. 12.

Aim: To investigate the effectiveness and safety of six-month treatment course of Omnic and Omnic Ocas in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in a routine urology practice in Kazakhstan.

Design: This was a multicenter prospective observational program involving the collection of data from patients with LUTS caused by BPH, who received Omnic Ocas or Omnic as the first line treatment.

Materials And Methods: The program comprised 1513 patients with a verified diagnosis of LUTS/BPH, who received Omnic Ocas or Omnic (tamsulosin) administered by urologists at hospitals in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Objectives: To investigate the predictive impact of the proliferation biomarker Ki-67 on the clinical course of patients with initial stage pTa urothelial carcinoma of the bladder (UCB).

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed all patients treated by transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TUR-B) for UCB between 1992-2004 in a single-center. Disease recurrence (≥pTa UCB) and absent tumor in histopathology, assessed by TUR-B with a non-malignant result for endoscopic suspect bladder lesion displayed endpoints.

Purpose: To determine whether the immunohistochemical markers survivin and E-cadherin can predict progress at initially diagnosed Ta bladder cancer.

Methods: We retrospectively searched for every initially diagnosed pTa urothelial bladder carcinoma having been treated at our single-center hospital in Germany from January 1992 up to December 2004. Follow-up was recorded up to June 2010, with recurrence or progress being the endpoints.

We studied efficacy of combined surgical treatment of patients with prostatic adenoma (PA) including laser vaporization (LV) and transurethral electroresection (TUER). A total of 294 PA patients entered the trial. Photoselective LV was made with GreenLight PVP laser (80 W) in 180 patients and Dornier Urobeam laser on the basis of diode laser (940 nm) in 34 patients.

The aim of the study was to determine indications for use of photoselective laser vaporization of the prostate (PVP) in clinical practice and to evaluate long-term results of this method. Since September 2005 to February 2007 a total of 106 patients aged 55-95 years with prostatic adenoma were operated. The patients were divided into two groups: group 1--patients with PA stage II (n = 45 patients), group 2--with stage III (n = 56 patients).
