Association of stress with anxiety and depression during pregnancy.

Objective: To find out the association of stress with anxiety and depression during pregnancy and to identify common stressors in women.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital, Kohat, Pakistan, from February 2011 to October 2012, and comprised pregnant women. Convenient sampling technique was used.

Attitude of medical students towards psychiatry in NWFP.

Background: Worldwide literature shows negative attitude of medical students towards psychiatry, which determines future of this subject. Some work has been conducted in two provinces (Sindh and Punjab) of Pakistan in this regard. The Objective of this cross sectional study was conducted to find out the attitude of medical students in NWFP towards psychiatry.

The attitude and perception of hospital doctors about the management of psychiatric disorders.

Objective: To determine perception and the attitude of non-psychiatric doctors about psychiatric problems working in a tertiary care hospital.

Design: Cross-sectional survey.
