Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It not only causes pain and physical limitations but also impacts mental health, sleep, work participation, and even mortality. Peri-articular dextrose prolotherapy has been shown to reduce knee osteoarthritis pain; however, the effect of injection sites on its effectiveness is not clear.

The Influence of Oral Ginger before Operation on Nausea and Vomiting after Cataract Surgery under General Anesthesia: A double-blind placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial.

Background: According to Iranian traditional medicine, using safe ginger may contribute to taking less chemical medicines and result in fewer side effects.

Objective: To determine the influence of using ginger before operation on nausea and vomiting, after cataract surgery under general anesthesia.

Methods: This study was a double-blind placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial conducted at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences in 2015.
