A study was carried out to determine the influence of telemedicine on management of facial lacerations in children. Proforma was designed, and information was collected retrospectively over a 4-month period. Of the 2524 telemedicine referrals, 27% (693/2524) were pediatric referrals.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFWe report an unusual case of testicular heterotopia in a child who underwent excision of a subcutaneous mass associated with a lipomyelomeningocele in the lumbosacral region. To the best of our knowledge testicular heterotopia has never been documented in humans, and this case report provides a possible embryological interpretation for such a presentation.
