In light of this transition, it is critical to ascertain the efficacy of patient safety protocols and evaluate the awareness of healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, regarding the integration of digital health technologies.

Aim: This study examines the factors influencing the successful adoption of digital health and telemedicine technologies from the nurses' perspective, focusing on ensuring patient safety and enhancing organizational readiness for digital health integration.

Long-Term Follow-Up and Overall Survival in NRG258, a Randomized Phase III Trial of Chemoradiation Versus Chemotherapy for Locally Advanced Endometrial Carcinoma.

This randomized phase III trial aimed to determine whether treatment with cisplatin and volume-directed radiation followed by carboplatin and paclitaxel for four cycles (chemoradiotherapy [C-RT]) increased recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) when compared with carboplatin and paclitaxel for six cycles (chemotherapy [CT]) in locally advanced endometrial cancer (UC). Previously reported results showed that C-RT did not improve RFS compared with CT. Here we report the final OS analysis.

According to the "Triple Code Model" in numerical cognition, distinct neural substrates encode the processing of visual, auditory, and non-symbolic numerical representations. While our contemporary understanding of human number cognition has benefited greatly from advances in clinical imaging, limited studies have investigated the intracranial electrophysiological correlates of number processing.

Background: Intrathecal baclofen pump (ITBP) therapy has been successfully used to treat hypertonia in children with cerebral palsy (CP) since its Food and Drug Administration approval in 1984. CP affects multiple organ systems, leading to the accumulation of medical access and implantable devices, increasing the medical complexity of these children. The authors present the case of a patient with extreme surgical complexity and review the medical decision-making and surgical details.

Efficacy and safety of dostarlimab in combination with chemotherapy in patients with dMMR/MSI-H primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer in a phase 3, randomized, placebo-controlled trial (ENGOT-EN6-NSGO/GOG-3031/RUBY).

Objectives: Part 1 of the RUBY trial (NCT03981796) demonstrated improved survival in patients with primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (EC) treated with dostarlimab plus carboplatin-paclitaxel versus placebo plus carboplatin-paclitaxel. Here, we examine additional efficacy and safety data from patients with mismatch repair deficient/microsatellite instability-high (dMMR/MSI-H) EC in the RUBY trial.

Methods: Patients were randomized 1:1 to dostarlimab 500 mg or placebo plus carboplatin-paclitaxel every 3 weeks for 6 cycles followed by dostarlimab or placebo every 6 weeks for up to 3 years.

Combination Resective or Ablative Epilepsy Surgery with Neurostimulation for Complex Epilepsy Networks: A Case Series.

Introduction: Complex epilepsy networks with multifocal onset zones that overlap with eloquent cortex may benefit from combined surgical approaches. However, limited data exist on outcomes associated with performing these therapies in tandem. In this case series, we report on 6 patients who underwent combination surgery with either resection or laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) and neuromodulation with responsive neurostimulation (RNS) or deep brain stimulation (DBS).

Niraparib first-line maintenance therapy in patients with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer: final overall survival results from the PRIMA/ENGOT-OV26/GOG-3012 trial.

Background: The phase III PRIMA/ENGOT-OV26/GOG-3012 trial met its primary endpoint. Niraparib first-line maintenance significantly prolonged progression-free survival (PFS) among patients with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer that responded to first-line platinum-based chemotherapy, regardless of homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) status. Final overall survival (OS) results are reported.

Methods: This is a single-institution retrospective review of patients enrolled in BPCIA undergoing spinal fusion with DRGs 453, 454, 455, 459, and 460 from 2018 to 2022.

The study prospectively collected 2,317 anaerobic isolates from various body sites across four Kuwaiti hospitals between January 2013 and December 2022. Patient-centric microsampling for abrocitinib pharmacokinetics: multiple-analytes assay bridging using Tasso device.

The feasibility of using Tasso devices (Tasso-SST and Tasso) collecting capillary blood samples for measuring abrocitinib and its metabolites were evaluated, and assay concordance established between capillary and venous blood samplings. Capillary serum and venous plasma concentrations were measured using their respective qualified and validated assays. Concentration and exposure comparisons were conducted for abrocitinib and its metabolites (M1, M2 and M4) to establish assay concordance.

Myxopapillary Ependymoma Metastasis Mimicking Pulmonary Embolism: An Illustrative Case.

A series of novel diphenyl pyrazole-chalcone derivatives were synthesized and assessed for their cytotoxic activities against 14 cancer cell lines and their antimicrobial activities against MRSA and along with their safety using HSF normal cell line. Majority of the compounds showed moderate-to-significant anticancer activity with selective high percentage inhibition (>80%) against HNO-97 while being nontoxic toward normal cells.

Methods: A cohort of 138 newly diagnosed patients completed standardized assessments, including the Edmonton Symptom Assessment System (ESAS), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), and Distress Thermometer (DT).
