In this study, we report the successful synthesis and thorough characterization of Eu-doped NaBaLaNbO phosphors, targeting their application in white-light-emitting diodes (w-LEDs). The phosphors were synthesized using a high-temperature solid-state method, ensuring robust incorporation of Eu ions into the host lattice. Comprehensive analyses were performed, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy, confirming the phase purity, crystallinity, morphology, and elemental composition of the phosphors.

We present a rare case of a solitary intracranial plasmacytoma of the brain parenchyma in a 49-year-old female who presented with neck pain/headache, paresthesias, and auditory hallucinations. A workup revealed a solitary left parietal lobe brain lesion and a biopsy demonstrated a plasma cell infiltrate consistent with an extramedullary plasmacytoma. A complete workup for multiple myeloma was negative.

Unlabelled: Genome-wide association study (GWAS) provides a robust and potent tool to retrieve complex phenotypic traits back to their underlying genetics. Assessment of genetic diversity is a pre-requisite to broaden the genetic background of cultivated base of sweet corn, an endosperm mutant of field corn that alters starch biosynthesis pathway in endosperm. In the current investigation, genetic divergence among 39 inbred lines was assessed on the basis of 14 agro-morphological traits, two quality parameters and 63 microsatellite markers, selected on the basis of their association with QTLs affecting kernel quality. The cluster analysis based on unweighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages for agro-morphological and quality traits grouped the 39 inbreds into three clusters with 5, 14 and 20 genotypes, respectively.

Upon infection, effective antiviral responses by CD8+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, Natural killer (NK) cells, and monocytes can lead to partial or complete eradication of the viral infection. To date, many studies have shown that the production of inhibitory cytokines such as Interleukin 10 (IL-10), Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), along with dysfunction of the dendritic cells (DCs), and the absence of efficient innate immune responses could lead to T cell exhaustion, development of persistent infection, and inability to eradicate the viral infection from liver.
