- This study presents the first genome sequence of the bacteria Pasteurella multocida BAUTB2, which was isolated from a buffalo that died of hemorrhagic septicemia in Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
- The genome of BAUTB2 was sequenced using Illumina HiSeq technology, revealing a total length of 2,439,149 base pairs and a GC content of 40.8%.
- The analysis identified 2,307 coding sequences, 6 rRNA genes, 51 tRNA genes, and 4 noncoding RNA genes within the genome.
