Advancing Dental Implant Design: A Comprehensive Study of Machining Parameters, Corrosion Behavior, and Microstructural Evaluation.

In this research, we investigate the impact of varying machining parameters [depth of cutting (mm) and spindle rotation speed (rpm)] on the microstructure and electrochemical behavior of Ti6Al4V-ELI dental implants. This comprehensive study employs an approach, leveraging potentiodynamic methods and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, to analyze corrosion behavior in a phosphate-buffered saline solution. To further deepen our understanding of corrosion kinetics, we used an alternating current circuit model, based on a simple Randles equivalent circuit.
