This study focused on ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN) by analyzing 36 eyes of 35 patients over a three-year period in Peshawar, Pakistan.
The most common type of OSSN was squamous cell carcinoma of the conjunctiva, primarily affecting older males, with identified risk factors including age, UV exposure, and xeroderma pigmentosa.
Treatment options varied, with local resection being the most common, and the study emphasizes the need for identifying etiological factors to lower the incidence and complications of OSSN.
