This editorial elaborates on the current and future applications of linear endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) a substantial diagnostic and therapeutic modality for various anatomical regions. The scope of endosonographic assessment is broad and, among other factors, allows for the evaluation of the mediastinal anatomy and related pathologies, such as mediastinal lymphadenopathy and the staging of central malignant lung lesions. Moreover, EUS assessment has proven more accurate in detecting small lesions missed by standard imaging examinations, such as computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.

Despite advancements in endometrial cancer research, racial disparities in mortality rates persist.

Several paraneoplastic syndromes have been associated, and this case study represents a rare manifestation of ovarian cancer, presenting as non-islet cell tumor hypoglycemia (NICTH), characterized by the excessive production of insulin-like growth factor-II (IGF-II) by tumor cells. We report a 55-year-old woman who presented to our hospital with abdominal distension and severe refractory hypoglycemia.

Patients And Methods: We used CDC WONDER database to calculate the age-adjusted mortality rates (AAMRs) per 1,000,000 individuals and used the Joinpoint Regression Program to measure the average annual percent change (AAPC). Subgroup evaluations were performed by sex, age, race, census region, and urbanization level.
Introduction: Bisphosphonates (P-C-Ps) also called diphosphonates are the structural analogs of naturally occurring pyrophosphates. Bisphosphonates are traditionally used and shown to provide long-term success in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis and other bone loss pathologies. Furthermore, bisphosphonates are gaining popularity in the present era of cancer therapeutics and prevention.

This paper presents a compelling case of a 74-year-old Hispanic female diagnosed with a rare combination of high-risk MDS characterized by a complex karyotype and TP53 mutation, alongside IgG lambda MGUS. The patient's clinical presentation included a spectrum of symptoms such as body aches, rash, fever, dyspnea, and bloody watery diarrhea.

Leptomeningeal disease is a catastrophic complication to have as patients deteriorate rapidly. Patients can present with symptoms of cranial nerve neuropathies, headache, nausea, and focal neurological deficits.

It is aimed to decrease portal pressure in special situations for patients with decompensated liver disease with portal hypertension. It represents a potential addition to the therapeutic modalities that could achieve hepatic recompensation in those patients based on Baveno VII criteria.

This study sought to examine the longitudinal trends in mortality from HIV-related diseases by race, sex, geographical region, and over time as HAART trends changed.
Methods: We queried the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Wide-Ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research database and performed serial cross-sectional analyses of national death certificate data for all-cause mortality with comorbid HIV from 1999 to 2020.
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common worldwide cancer with a poor prognosis despite treatment advancements. Patients typically exhibit signs and symptoms pertaining to the liver. Extrahepatic metastasis of HCC is documented to be as low as 5% of cases.

Individuals with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) are considered to be at high risk of contracting COVID-19. It is also becoming increasingly evident that the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine response is frequently lacking or insufficient.

The initial thought was that her fever was of infectious etiology, but relevant investigations led to the diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AML, which is characterized by clonal expansion of immature "blast cells" in the peripheral blood and bone marrow resulting in ineffective erythropoiesis and bone marrow failure, is the most prevalent form of leukemia.

Background: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is one of the most frequent functional gastrointestinal disorders, but the condition is still underdiagnosed. The high of rate of unidentified IBS by patients can be related to different factors. The aim of this study is to assess the rate of unidentified IBS among Lebanese adults and investigate the role of socio-demographic factors, anxiety, depression, insomnia and eating attitudes on IBS diagnosis.

Based on the proximate analysis, adding JACF with 20% recorded the highest contents of protein, ash, fibers, and inulin as 24.73, 3.

The evidence has demonstrated that the expression of several miRs is dysregulated in human cancer.

Background: Breast cancer (BC) plays a major public health in Egyptian woman. In Upper Egypt, there is an increase in incidence of BC compared to other Egyptian areas. Triple-negative BC, estrogen receptor (ER)-negative, progesterone receptor (PR)-negative, and HER2-neu-negative, is a high-risk BC that lacks the benefit of specific therapy that targets these proteins.

Methodology: Green solvents (model-A) augmented with piperine (PPN) and quercetin (QT) as natural antioxidants (model-B) at different pH 2-6 (model-C) were used to extract catechins from green tea leaves using an ultrasonic extraction process (USE). For quantification of catechins (EC; epicatechins, ECG; epicatechin gallate, and EGCG; epigallocatechin gallate), a green and sensitive UHPLC-MS/MS method was developed and validated.
