[Epidemiological characteristics and pathogenetical peculiaritries of subclinical infections caused with hepatitis B and C viruses among pregnant women living in Baku].

The aim of the work was to conduct serological tests of blood serums of 1782 pregnant women living in Baku for spread of hepatitis B and C viral infections. Results obtained demonstrated that frequency of serologic markers detection among pregnant women had no substantial difference from analogous parameters in healthy donors living in Baku. Biochemical tests of blood serums contained HBsAg or/and anti-HCV.

[Hepatitis B and C viral infections among pregnant women: clinical and pathogenetical aspects].

The authors have compared results quantitation of bilirubin level and aminotransferase activity in the blood with results of serologic testing for hepatitis B and C viral infections markers among 277 pregnant women. It permits to determined frequency of clinically manifested, subclinic and innapparant forms of these infections at pregnant women. These presented results confirmed prevalence of subclinic form of above mentioned infections and shown the necessity of usage sensitive enough laboratory methods only for serologic examination of all pregnant women in moment of their admission in maternity hospital.
