Concomitant Use of Proton Pump Inhibitors and CDK4/6 inhibitors in Metastatic Hormone-Positive Breast Cancer: A Real World Cohort Study.

Introduction: Conflicting evidence exists regarding the concurrent use of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitors and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in the treatment of breast cancer. This study aimed to investigate whether PPI use interferes with the efficacy of CDK4/6 inhibitors.

Methods: This retrospective, multicenter, real-world study included 205 patients with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer.

Comparison of First-Line Chemotherapeutics and Validation of the EORTC Prognostic Index in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma: Retrospective Single-Centre Experience.

Objective: To evaluate the efficiency of pemetrexed cisplatin in comparison with gemcitabine cisplatin and to validate the EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer) prognostic score in combination chemotherapy treatment for malignant pleural mesothelioma.

The Comparison of FLOT and DCF Regimens as Perioperative Treatment for Gastric Cancer.

Introduction: Locoregional gastric cancer is a still serious problem and perioperative treatments may improve the success of management. Different regimens were examined. The present study purposed to compare the efficacy of fluorouracil-leucovorin-oxaliplatin-docetaxel (FLOT) and docetaxel-cisplatin-fluorouracil (DCF) regimens.

Comparison of Two Chemotherapy Regimens After First-Line Treatment for HER2-Negative Metastatic Gastric Cancer.

Aim: Metastatic stage gastric cancer is a disease with a poor prognosis and the likelihood of achieving a cure in these patients is low. Treatment response to subsequent-line treatments is poor. We aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the folinic acid, fluorouracil and irinotecan (FOLFIRI) and paclitaxel+carboplatin regimens, which are used in subsequent lines of therapy in advanced-stage gastric cancer.

Clinical outcomes of concomitant use of proton pump inhibitors and regorafenib in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer: a multicenter study.

Aim: To compare survival outcomes, response rates, and adverse events (AEs) in proton pump inhibitor (PPI) user and non-user patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) treated with regorafenib.

Methods: We included 272 patients with mCRC treated with regorafenib in this study. Patients were divided into two categories according to their status of PPI use.
