The relationship between vitamin D level and hepatosteatosis in obese children.

Objective: The increasing incidence of obesity in children is a significant risk factor for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and obesity-associated morbidity. In the present study, we aimed to explore the correlation between Vitamin D level and hepatosteatosis in obese children.

Methods: A total of 110 children aged 10-16 years who presented to pediatric endocrinology outpatient clinic for obesity were enrolled.

A Rare Cause of Prepubertal Gynecomastia: Sertoli Cell Tumor.

Prepubertal gynecomastia due to testis tumors is a very rare condition. Nearly 5% of the patients with testicular mass present with gynecomastia. Sertoli cell tumors are sporadic in 60% of the reported cases, while the remaining is a component of multiple neoplasia syndromes such as Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and Carney complex.
