Nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity include increased oxidative stress and apoptosis; as a result, liver and kidney damage are related to its pathogenesis. These are significant side effects caused in cancer patients treated with 5-FU. In the research, 25 rats were divided into five groups, including control, 5-FU and 5-FU + 2.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluatethedifferent doses of ZnO-NPS on testicular tissue.
Materials And Methods: 35 male Wistar rats(10-12 wk, 220 20gr) were divided into 7 groups of 5, including the control group (gavaged distilled water daily), sham group (received intraperitoneal doses of distilled water twice a week).
Biosensors are valuable tools for the detection of biological species, including cells, pathogens, proteins, and other biological molecules. Biosensing devices integrated with microfluidics not only allow for easier sample preparation, portability, and reduced detection time and cost but also offer unique features such as label-free detection and improved sensitivity. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), particularly acute myocardial infarction, which is considered one of the main causes of death, are currently diagnosed by electrocardiography (ECG), which has been proven to be inadequate.

Therefore, the development and use of novel pharmaceuticals, like nanoparticles (NPs)-based drug delivery systems (DDSs), can be potentially effective in cancer therapy.
Area Covered: Poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) NPs, as a kind of bioavailable, biocompatible, and biodegradable polymers, have approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for some biomedical and pharmaceutical applications.
The purpose of the current study is to investigate the effect of aquatic extract against the oxidative damage induced by aluminum chloride intoxication in Alzheimer's model of Wister rats. Rats were divided randomly into seven groups ( = 10). Control group received no treatment, sham group received distilled water orally, aluminum group (AL) was administered AlCl (100 mg/kg) orally, extract 1 and 2 groups were treated with only aqueous extract (DRE) (500 and 1000 mg/kg), and treatment 1 and 2 groups received aqueous extract (500 and 1000 mg/kg) and AlCl (100 mg/kg) orally.

This study aimed to introduce a novel radiolabeled compound, Lu-cetuximab-PAMAM G4, for the treatment of EGFR-expressing tumors.
Methods: In this study, the cetuximab mAb was bound to PAMAM G4 and labeled with Lu via DTPA-CHX chelator.
Purpose: Granulation tissue-induced tracheal stenosis (mainly secondary to intubation or lung transplantation) is one of the most common etiologies of benign airway obstructions. Recurrence rates after standard treatment options (surgical resection and/or endobronchial interventions) can inadvertently worsen the stricture through the stimulation of more granulation tissue generation (via increased fibroblast activity and roliferation). Low-dose radiotherapy could be a promising tool to prevent granulation tissue formation after surgery and/or endobronchial interventions regarding its established role in the treatment of keloids or hypertrophic scars, two benign diseases with similar a pathophysiology to tracheal stenosis.
