Joint replacement is currently on the rise with a high community burden. A registry was designed to evaluate the costs, possible complications, and rate of revisions as well as finding the most effective techniques, risk factors associated with poor results, indications for revision surgeries, and also demographic evaluation of patients undergoing joint replacement surgery in Iran.

Seroprevalence of human T lymphtropic virus (HTLV) among tissue donors in Iranian tissue bank.

Iranian Tissue Bank prepares a wide range of human tissue homografts such as; heart valve, bone, skin, amniotic membrane and other tissues for different clinical applications. The purpose of this study was to determine the seroprevalence of HTLV in tissue donors. About 1,548 tissue donors were studied during a 5-years period by ELISA assays.
