Z-number network data envelopment analysis approach: A case study on the Iranian insurance industry.

The main aim of this research is to present an innovative method known as fuzzy network data envelopment analysis (FNDEA) in order to assess the performance of network decision-making units (DMUs) that possess a two-stage structure while taking into account the uncertainty of data. To attain this goal, we utilize various methodologies including the non-cooperative game (leader-follower) NDEA method, the concept of Z-number, credibility theory, and chance-constrained programming (CCP) to develop a model for the fuzzy NDEA approach. The FNDEA approach offers several advantages, such as the linearity of the presented FNDEA models, the ability to rank two-stage DMUs in situations of ambiguity, the provision of a unique efficiency decomposition method in an uncertain environment, and the capability to handle Z-information.

Otisma: an integrated application and humanoid robot as an educational tool for children with autism.

Autistic children have difficulty communicating wants, needs, and thoughts. In cases of low functioning autism, an individual can have serious speech and language disabilities. In response to the need of parents and therapists dealing with autistic children, social robots have been developed and incorporated into assisting children with autism.

Novel P,C-orthopalladated complexes containing histidine and phenylalanine amino acids: synthesis, DNA and BSA interactions, antitumoral activity and molecular docking approach.

Novel [Pd(-CHCHP(-tolyl))(histidine)] () and [Pd(-CHCHP( tolyl))(phenylalanine)] () P,C-orthopalladated complexes have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy. To study the stability of the compounds in biological media, the complexes were incubated in Tris buffer during 10 days. The absorbance of the compounds remained constant, which confirmed the stability of the complexes in biological media.

Comparison of Success Rate in Complete Supine Versus Semi Supine Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy: (The first pilot study in randomized clinical trial).

Purpose: To compare outcomes and complications of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in the complete supine versus semi supine position in order to select the best position.

Materials And Methods: In this clinical trial, between July 2011 and May 2014, a total of 44 patients who presented for PCNL were prospectively enrolled and randomly divided into 2 groups [complete supine (n=22), andsemi supine (n = 22)]. The results in both positions were compared regarding the complexity and outcomes.

Neutralizing human recombinant antibodies against herpes simplex virus type 1 glycoproteins B from a phage-displayed scFv antibody library.

The HSV-1 envelope glycoprotein B (gB) plays a critical role in virus entry into host cells. Neutralizing antibodies can therefore potentially prevent virus entry into target cells and cell-to-cell spread of infection. Our present study focused on the selection of neutralizing single-chain Fv (scFv) antibodies of a phage-displayed nonimmune human scFv antibody library against gB of HSV-1.
