Background: The aim of the present study was to evaluate a non-destructive fabrication method in for the development of sustained-release poly (L, D-lactic acid)-based biodegradable clindamycin phosphate implants for the treatment of ocular toxoplasmosis.
Materials And Methods: The rod-shaped intravitreal implants with an average length of 5 mm and a diameter of 0.4 mm were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters.
Background: The pharmacists' roles and responsibilities toward the pharmaceutical care practice have developed considerably during the recent years.
Objectives: The aim of this program is to explore the opinions and performances of community pharmacists with regard to their professional tasks and responsibilities in Isfahan city.
Materials And Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional questionnaire survey of community pharmacists was conducted on a sample of 150 pharmacists using the Delphi process.
Aim: The study aimed to analyze publications in the field of "pediatric tuberculosis" and associate them with regional Tuberculosis (TB) profile.
Methods: A schematic analysis of scientific production in the field of pediatric tuberculosis between 1990 and 2010 using ISI web of science was carried out. Terms used for searches were each as a combination of "Mycobacterium Tuberculosis", or "Tuberculos*" and "Child", or "Infant", or "New born", or "Neonatal", or "Adolescent", or "Pediatric".

Background: The need to relieve pain and inflammation after periodontal surgery and the side effects of systemic drugs and advantages of topical drugs, made us to evaluate the effect of Diclofenac mouthwash on periodontal postoperative pain.
Methods: In this double-blind, randomized clinical trial study 20 quadrants of 10 patients(n = 20) aged between 22-54 who also acted as their own controls, were treated using Modified Widman Flap procedure in two quadrants of the same jaw with one month interval between the operations. After the operation in addition to ibuprofen 400 mg, one quadrant randomly received Diclofenac mouthwash (0/01%) for 30 seconds, 4 times a day (for a week) and for the contrary quadrant, ibuprofen and placebo mouthwash was given to be used in the same manner.

Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the incidence of irritable bowel syndrome in women undergoing hysterectomy and tubular ligation.
Background: The results of previous studies have shown an increased incidence of irritable bowel syndrome after gynecological surgeries.
Patients And Methods: Participants were patients of Alzahra and Taleghani University hospitals in Tabriz.
Purpose: The micronization using milling process to enhance dissolution rate is extremely inefficient due to a high energy input, and disruptions in the crystal lattice which can cause physical or chemical instability. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to use in situ micronization process through pH change method to produce micron-size gliclazide particles for fast dissolution hence better bioavailability.
Methods: Gliclazide was recrystallized in presence of 12 different stabilizers and the effects of each stabilizer on micromeritic behaviors, morphology of microcrystals, dissolution rate and solid state of recrystallized drug particles were investigated.
