Subjects And Methods: 36 patients aged 20 to 75 years with Stages I-II COPD concurrent with Stages I-II, first-second grade hypertension were examined and treated. The clinical examination included collection of complaints and medical history data, clinical laboratory and instrumental (electrocardiography, spirography) studies, and health-related quality of life (using the SF-36 questionnaire).
Aim: To examine the incidence of polymorbidity (PM) and changes in its rates in 2003 to 2011 in cardiac and gastroenterologic patients living in the Novosibirsk Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in accordance with gender, occupation, and residence.
Subjects And Methods: The dynamics of PM rates was analyzed in 13 496 patients who had been examined and treated at the Cardiology and Gastroenterology Departments, Therapeutic Clinic, Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine (Novosibirsk), 2003-2011. The study used an archival research method and a statistical analysis of all nosological entities, groups, and classes in ICD-10, regardless of whether the diagnosis was primary or concurrent.
Heliogeophysical situation during prenatal development of humans is essential for blood rheology, hemostasis, and spectral and frequency parameters of the blood. The relationship between these parameters and natural physical factors is determined by the intensity of solar activity and geomagnetic induction during postnatal ontogeny. Analysis of changes in the functional relationship between hematological values and heliogeophysical factors under conditions of simulated hypogeomagnetic space included evaluation of possible consequences of distortions of the heliobiospheric relationships in large cities, particularly pronounced for cardiovascular patients.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOur research in high latitudes has allowed the identification of a special class of deadaptive disorders, northern cardiometeopathies, which integrates cardiovascular functional violations connected to biologically significant modifications of meteorological, geomagnetic, electrical, gravitational, rhythmological and other geo-ecological factors of the North. Cardiac and cerebral disorder complexes, and also some psychoemotional modifications manifest cardiometeopathies. Cardiometeopathies can occur with developing of pathology, and in such a case they can be selected in the independent form of deadaptive disease.
