Aqueous extracts were obtained at low temperature with the Naviglio technology from grapevine stalks (Merlot), marc (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) and leaves (Merlot) as typical byproducts of winemaking industry, and their properties were evaluated cytofluorometrically on human dermal fibroblasts. Leaf extracts had the greatest total phenolic ((47.6±3.

Cushioned centrifugation increased total motility (61.

Thereafter, sperm quality and male fertility traits of bulls were explored by GWAS using a high-density (777K) Illumina chip. After data editing, 85 bulls and 591,988 SNPs were retained for GWAS.

The objective of the present work was to compare the pregnancy rates in Mediterranean Italian buffalo cows inseminated with sexed frozen-thawed semen at 2, 4, 6, and 8 million sperm per dose, using the Ovsynch protocol and conventional AI at a fixed time. Fresh ejaculates from three buffalo bulls were processed according to Beltsville sperm sorting technology, and packaged in 0.

This is a pain conducting the patient to overuse analgesic medicaments even making worse "allodynia" and the organic integrity. That's why a multidisciplinary approach to this kind of chronic benign pathology permits to improve prognosis and quality of life.

Survival and mutation frequency as a function of different bleomycin concentrations after one conditioning dose of UV radiation were determined. Furthermore, corresponding interaction functions and sensitization factors were calculated.

In the present work we analyse some properties of the pso4-1 (= xs9) mutant of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which is blocked in both reverse mutation and recombination. We have applied the "apparent survival test" as a method to characterize putative inducible error-prone repair activities related to the PSO4 gene. As the mutagenic agent we have used bleomycin, which is an antitumour radiomimetic antibiotic.

The control group consisted of an equal number of healthy subjects, comparable for age and sex. The most important finding in our study is that migraine patients with visual prodromata have a significantly longer P100 latency than the subjects of control group.
