Even though it is generally accepted that the nidus of a ruptured bAVM may be underestimated in angiography during the acute phase due to hematoma compression, documentation of the underestimated parts has not been described in the literature. The authors report 2 cases of ruptured bAVMs in which the obscured segments were cast with liquid embolic material, which suggests a potential presence of obscured segments in bAVMs.

Methods: Patients with CVST between 2008 and 2020 were reviewed.
Objectives: The long-term durability of carotid artery stenting (CAS) may be determined by various factors; however, residual stenosis is a known risk factor for in-stent restenosis. The authors of this article utilized cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in angiosuite to investigate plaque features affecting the character and quality of stent expansion after CAS.
Methods: Forty-two CAS cases with both pre- and post-CAS CBCT evaluations were included in this retrospective analysis.
Purpose: The balloon-stent technique (BST) has certain strengths as an assisted technique for the treatment of complex aneurysms. After Atlas release, the BST can be executed without an exchange maneuver of the balloon to the stent-delivery catheter. Objective: To characterise the time window in which endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is associated with good outcome, and to test the differential relationship between functional outcome and onset-to-reperfusion time (ORT), depending on collateral status.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of clinical and imaging data of 554 consecutive patients, who had recanalisation success by EVT for anterior circulation large artery occlusion, from the prospectively maintained registries of 16 comprehensive stroke centres between September 2010 and December 2015. The patients were dichotomised into good and poor collateral groups, based on CT angiography.
Endovascular coiling for intracranial aneurysms has become an accepted treatment with good clinical results and provides adequate protection against rebleeding and rupture of aneurysms. Objective: To present our experience with intravenous tirofiban infusion, in the form of a monotherapy as well as in addition to intra-arterial tirofiban, as a prophylactic, and as a rescue management for thrombus in patients who have undergone embolization with coils for ruptured intracranial aneurysms.
Methods: Between December 2008 and January 2015, we retrospectively reviewed 249 ruptured intracranial aneurysms that were treated with coiling at our institutions.
Objective: To date, no controlled studies on the treatment of carotid artery dissection (CAD) have been reported. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the technical feasibility and clinical efficacy of stent-supported angioplasty (SSA) as primary treatment for acute stroke due to CAD.
Methods: A review of medical records identified 21 patients who underwent SSA as primary treatment for acute stroke related to CAD between 2008 and 2014.
