Flavonoids are the most common group of phenolic compounds that have anti-carcinogenic properties and are the constituents of fruits, vegetables and plant derived beverages. In the present study, Flavonoids were docked to three-dimensional structure of P-glycoprotein which plays an important role in multi drug resistance. A three-dimensional homology model of human P-glycoprotein was built, based on the crystal structure of the 3G5U (Chain A; Structure of a bacterial multidrug ABC transporter) by using Modeller7v7 software.

Differently expressed proteins in probiotic Escherichia coli nissle 1917 under mercury stress identified by using a proteomic approach. We applied to separate proteins by using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and proteins were identified using MALDI-TOF-MS using PMF, by mascot database search using the NCBI database. we identified six proteins after exposure to mercury stress with respect to different functional classes.

In cardiovascular system, activation of Endothelin receptors causes vasoconstriction which leads to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). Endothelin receptor antagonism has emerged as an important therapeutic strategy in pulmonary arterial hypertension. Bosentan is intended to affect vasoconstriction, hypertrophic and fibrotic effects by blocking the actions of receptors ET(A) and ET(B).
