Purpose: This study analyzed inter-institute conformity and dose gradient variability of CyberKnife (CK) brain SRS/SRT plans. The feasibility of multi-center predictive models was investigated, aiming at guided/automated planning optimization.
Methods: Data from 335 clinical plans, delivered for single lesions in 1-5 fractions, were collected by 8 CK centers.
Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP1Ra)-based therapies on change in dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA)-acquired lean mass (LM) or bone mineral density (BMD).
Methods: PubMed and Web of Science were searched from database inception through January 29, 2024, for randomized, placebo-controlled trials reporting on change in DXA-acquired LM or BMD measures associated with 12+ weeks of GLP1Ra-based treatment. Of 2618 articles, 9 trials met prespecified search criteria, with 7 reporting on change in total body LM and 2 reporting on change in BMD.
Purpose: The goal of this study was to explore the complex relationship between obesity, dietary content, weight loss, and cortisol concentrations in postmenopausal women with overweight and obesity.
Methods: Women completed basal cortisol testing, a dexamethasone suppression test (DST), DXA scan, 3-hour oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), and food records before ( = 60) and a subset after 6-months of weight loss (WL; = 15) or aerobic exercise training+weight loss (AEX+WL, = 34).
Results: At baseline, plasma cortisol concentrations decreased significantly after DST in the entire group, a 54% suppression which was associated with basal glucose.

Compounds targeting non-canonical secondary structures of nucleic acids, known as G-quadruplexes, are highly cytotoxic, both for cancer and healthy cells, because of their action mechanism's lack of appropriate selectivity. The targeted delivery of cytotoxic molecules to cancer cells is a valuable strategy to expand the repertoire of potential drugs, especially for cancer types for which new therapeutic tools are urgently needed, like glioblastoma.
