Antisynthetase syndrome is a rare idiopathic inflammatory multisystem disorder, which can lead to serious postoperative complications. Due to its low incidence, there is little literature on its anesthetic management. However, patients with this disease can suffer from serious complications secondary to muscle weakness and respiratory complications.
