Objective: The of study was to evaluate the biological effects occurring in the animal body in conditions of a regular consumption of bread with a combination of flaxseed and clarified tomato juice in its composition.
Methods: The animals (Soviet Chinchilla breed) were randomly distributed between six groups. Group 1 is intact animals.
The crystal structure of ammonium polyuranates has been investigated. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) has been employed to define single-phase samples within a series of synthesized compounds, which are further characterized by elemental analysis to ascertain the stoichiometry, revealing compositions of and . Analysis using extended X-ray absorption fine structure and vibrational spectroscopy has elucidated that both and possess a local structure similar to the metaschoepite─layered U(VI) oxohydroxide UO·2HO, but with HO and NH groups in the interlayers.

Nanocomposites based on ferromagnetic nickel nanoparticles and graphene-related materials are actively used in various practical applications such as catalysis, sensors, sorption, etc. Therefore, maintaining their dispersity and homogeneity during deposition onto the reduced graphene oxide substrate surface is of crucial importance to provide the required product characteristics. This paper demonstrates a new, reproducible method for preparing a tailored composite based on nickel nanoparticles on the reduced graphene oxide surface using supercritical isopropanol treatment.

The aim is to investigate the antioxidant activity (AOA) of HS matrices (macroligands) and AgNPs stabilized with humic macroligands (HS-AgNPs). The unique chemical feature of HSs makes them very promising ligands (matrices) for AgNP stabilization.

For the analysis, we used data from the cross-sectional stage of a 2013-2014 study, "Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Regions of the Russian Federation (ESSE-RF)". The final sample included 18,021 men and women 25-64 years of age from 11 regions of Russia.

For the analysis, cross-sectional data of the Russian study, ESSE-RF 2013-2014, were used. They were collected on a sample of 16,400 subjects from 10 regions of the Russia.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA fast method for preparing aqueous graphene oxide (GO) dispersions by electrochemical oxidation of a graphite anode without preliminary intercalation with oxidizing agents is proposed. Ultrasonic probing was used in the modulation mode of ultrasonic waves (work/rest) for more efficient graphite oxidation-exfoliation. It is shown that the 4/2 s mode of ultrasonic modulation is the most effective due to the probe material's low corrosion while maintaining the optimum synthesis temperature not exceeding 30-35 °C and achieving the best characteristics of the resulting product.

Methods: The objectives of the scoping review, the criteria and methods for selecting articles were defined in advance and recorded in the protocol PROSPERO CRD42021234874. We sought publications on the research topic in PubMed, Google Scholar, OpenGrey, Crossref and eLibrary databases from the moment they were created until December 31, 2021.
The nature of the constituent components of composite materials can significantly affect the character of their interaction with the gas phase. In this work, nanocrystalline InO was synthesized by the chemical precipitation method and was modified using reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The obtained composites were characterized by several analysis techniques-XRD, TEM, SEM, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy, XPS, TGA, and DRIFTS.

For the analysis, we used cross-sectional data from the Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Regions of the Russian Federation study from 2013-2014. The sample included 18,054 men and women 25-64 years of age from 12 regions.

A deprivation index has become a more popular tool to rank levels of deprivation within different geographic areas. It is extensively used for monitoring health inequalities, evaluating health care services, developing and modifying health policies and programs, and allocating health resources equitably. Our objectives are (1) to explore the relevant literature to describe features of composite deprivation measures; (2) create a list and classification of original deprivation indices.

Identifying dietary and physical activity (PA) patterns in Russian youths and examining their dependence on gender, age, family characteristics and area of residence features. The research involved 783 school students 10-17 years of age and their parents living in the cities of Moscow and Murmansk. Using the principal component analysis, four integral indices were identified that characterized the habits and dietary patterns, PA and lifestyle.

Methods: Regional characteristics were obtained from the official website of the Federal State Statistics Service of the RF. We employed principal component analysis to reduce the dimensionality of data, which allowed defining five integral regional indices.
Our study evaluated the impact of a wide range of characteristics of large administrative regions on the individual level of cigarette smoking in the Russian adult population. The pool of participants included 20,303 individuals aged 25-64 years. We applied 64 characteristics of the 12 Russian regions under study for 2010-2014.

An empirical assessment of diets using a posteriori analysis allows us to define actual dietary patterns (DPs) in the food consumption structure of a population. This study represents an a posteriori assessment of DPs for the Russian population in general as well as their dependence on socio-demographic and regional parameters. The data were obtained from 21,923 individuals aged 25-64 years old from a Russian multicenter study of "Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Regions of the Russian Federation" conducted in 2013-2014.
