Purpose: An Italian real-world retrospective study was conducted in patients with psoriasis (PSO) to evaluate their characteristics, treatment patterns, and biological/targeted synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (b/tsDMARD) drug utilization.

Patients And Methods: The retrospective analysis was carried out on real-world data collected from administrative databases of selected Italian health-departments; the dataset covered approximately 22% of the Italian population. PSO patients (identified by PSO hospitalization, and/or active exemption code and/or a topical anti-psoriatic medication prescription) were included.

Following previous reports on the synthesis and structure of different nickelacyclic complexes analogues of nickelocene, we now deal with the new metallacyclic compounds (eta5-R-cyclopentadienyl){eta4-[1-(eta5-R-cyclopentadienyl)]-2,3,4,5-tetraphenyl-1-nickela-2-cyclopentenyl}nickel (R = H, CH3). The redox ability of the whole series of nickelacyclic derivatives has been also investigated by electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical techniques, and the nature of the frontier orbitals responsible for the rich electron transfer activity of this class of compounds has been supported by theoretical considerations. On the basis of the redox properties of a few neutral members of the series, their chemical oxidation afforded the corresponding monocations and the crystal structures of the pertinent redox couples were determined by X-ray single-crystal analysis.

The nitrido-encapsulated heterometallic cluster anions [Co(10)Rh(N)2(CO)21](3-) (1), [Co(10)Rh2(N)2(CO)24](2-) (2), and [Co(11)Rh(N)2(CO)24](2-) (3) have been obtained by tailored redox-condensation reactions. These three anions are rare high-nuclearity mixed-metal clusters containing two interstitial nitrogen atoms. Their structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction on their [NR4]+ salts (R = Me for 1 and 3, R = Et for 2), and their electrochemical and ESR properties have been studied in detail.

Cationic dinuclear Cu(II) complexes 3 and 4 have been prepared using the novel hydroquinone-based imine chelators 2,5-((i)Pr(2)NCH(2)CH(2)N[double bond, length as m-dash]CH)(2)-1,4-(OH)(2)-C(6)H(2) (1) and 2,5-(pyCH(2)CH(2)N[double bond, length as m-dash]CH)(2)-1,4-(OH)(2)-C(6)H(2) (2), respectively (py = 2-pyridyl). X-Ray quality crystals of both complexes were grown from their DMF solutions. The sterically more encumbered compound crystallizes in the form of discrete dinuclear entities with Cu(II) centres in a distorted square-planar ligand environment (one coordination site is occupied by a DMF molecule).

[3]Ferrocenophanone rac-8 was prepared by several non-Friedel-Crafts pathways starting from a Mannich-type coupling of 1,1'-diacetylferrocene followed by catalytic hydrogenation. Hydride abstraction from the resulting alpha-dimethylamino[3]ferrocenophane rac-14 with B(C6F5)3 followed by hydrolysis gave the ketone rac-8. Several variants of the Sommelet reaction, using ethylglyoxylate, formaldehyde or hexamethylenetetramine (urotropine) as the "oxidizing" reagent gave the alpha-[3]ferrocenophanone 8 in good to excellent yield.

Four highly soluble square-planar Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes of siloxy-salens (2SiCu, 2SiNi) and hydroxy-salens (2Cu, 2Ni) have been synthesized.
