- Researchers compared female adolescents and adults with AN to healthy controls, measuring how participants evaluated themselves using explicit (direct) and implicit (automatic) tests.
- Results indicated that those with AN showed more negative self-evaluation, recalling and recognizing negative words more than positive ones, while the self-evaluation bias wasn't directly linked to the severity of the eating disorder.
