We identified unique molecular heterogeneity of CD79 of human B cell antigen receptor (BCR) that may open a new approach to the ongoing CD79b-targeted therapy of B cell tumors. The primary purpose of the present study is to gain new information valuable for the enhanced CD79-targeted therapy. The molecular heterogeneity of CD79 was identified by sequential immunoprecipitation of BCR by use of anti-CD79b monoclonal antibody (mAb) SN8 and anti-CD79a mAb SN8b.

TRC105 (carotuximab), a chimeric anti-endoglin (CD105) antibody, inhibits angiogenesis and potentiates activity of VEGF inhibitor bevacizumab in preclinical models. This study sought to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of TRC105 for bevacizumab-refractory GBM.

We assessed safety, pharmacokinetics, and antitumor activity of TRC105 in combination with axitinib in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC).
Subjects, Materials, And Methods: Heavily pretreated mRCC patients were treated with TRC105 weekly (8 mg/kg and then 10 mg/kg) in combination with axitinib (initially at 5 mg b.
Background: In this trial we assessed the efficacy and tolerability of TRC105, a chimeric monoclonal antibody that targets CD105 (endoglin) in patients with advanced, previously treated urothelial carcinoma (UC).
Patients And Methods: Patients received TRC105 15 mg/kg every 2 weeks on days 1 and 15 of each 28-day cycle. The primary end point was progression-free survival (PFS) at 6 months.
Purpose: Endoglin, an endothelial cell membrane receptor expressed on angiogenic tumor vessels, is essential for angiogenesis and upregulated in the setting of VEGF inhibition. TRC105 is an anti-endoglin IgG1 monoclonal antibody that potentiates VEGF inhibitors in preclinical models. This study assessed safety, pharmacokinetics, and antitumor activity of TRC105 in combination with bevacizumab.

Our ongoing routine surveillance isolated another reassortant H3N2 CIV carrying the matrix gene of the pH1N1 virus from 2012. The infection dynamics of this H3N2 CIV variant (CIV/H3N2mv) were investigated in dogs and ferrets via experimental infection and transmission.

A chimeric antihuman ENG (hENG) monoclonal antibody (mAb) c-SN6j (also known as TRC105) shows promising safety and clinical efficacy features in multiple clinical trials of patients with various advanced solid tumors. Here we developed a novel genetically engineered mouse model to optimize the ENG-targeting clinical trials.

Patients And Methods: Patients received escalating doses of intravenous TRC105 until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity using a standard 3 + 3 phase I design.
Vascular-targeting antiangiogenic therapy (VTAT) of cancer can be advantageous over conventional tumor cell targeted cancer therapy if an appropriate target is found. Our hypothesis is that endoglin (ENG; CD105) is an excellent target in VTAT. ENG is selectively expressed on vascular and lymphatic endothelium in tumors.

In this report, we show that 3 anti-endoglin (ENG) monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) SN6a, SN6j and SN6k which define individually distinct epitopes of ENG of tumor vasculature are capable of suppressing tumor metastases in the multiple metastasis models. The metastasis models were generated by i.

Tumour microvessel density (MVD) has proven to be an important determinant of prognosis. In this study, we have examined the prognostic value of MVD identified using Mabs to the pan-endothelial marker CD34 and to CD105 in 111 patients with colorectal cancer.

Previous in vivo studies have shown that febrile temperatures dynamically stimulate adhesion in differentiated high endothelial venules (HEV), which are portals for lymphocyte extravasation. This report examines the direct effect of fever-range hyperthermia on the expression of adhesion molecules and cytokines by primary cultured endothelial cells.
