Evaluation of Nurses' Competency, Motivation, and Stress Levels in Disaster Management.

Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the relationships between nurses' competency, motivation, and stress levels in disaster management, as well as to shed light on the establishment of effective disaster management programs.

Methods: In our research we used a correlational, descriptive, cross-sectional design. The sample of the study was composed of 498 nurses working in Turkey.

The effect of bed exercises following major abdominal surgery on early ambulation, mobilization, pain and anxiety: A randomized-controlled trial.

This randomized-controlled trial aimed to investigate the effect of bed exercises on postoperative anxiety, pain, early ambulation and mobilization. This study was conducted with a randomized-controlled trial design and in the general surgical clinic of a research and training hospital. A total of 120 patients (60 in the experimental group and 60 in the control group) scheduled for major abdominal surgery took part in the study.

The Effects of the Spiritual Well-Being Levels of Surgical Nurses on Care Satisfaction in Liver Transplant Recipients After Transplantation: The Case of a Turkish Sample.

This study examined the effects of the spiritual well-being levels of surgical nurses on care satisfaction in liver transplant recipients after transplantation. The sample in this cross-sectional study consisted of 69 surgical nurses working in the organ transplant centre of a research and training hospital in Turkey and 79 liver transplant recipients. The data of this study were collected between 1 August 2020 and 30 August 2021.

The Effect of Coffee Consumption after Colorectal Surgery on Bowel Movements and Duration of Hospital Stay.

Background: Postoperative ileus after colorectal surgery is a common problem that significantly prolongs hospital stay and increases perioperative costs. The ability of postoperative coffee consumption to produce bowel movement is unclear and needs to be studied.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of coffee consumption on bowel movements and duration of hospital stay after laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effects of spiritual well-being of perioperative nurses on their compassion.

Design: This was a prospective and cross-sectional study.

Methods: The sample for this study included 168 perioperative nurses working in the surgical clinics of a research hospital.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate patient satisfaction with nursing practices regarding postoperative pain management.

Methods: A systematic review of the literature published between 2005 and 2015 was conducted, comprising a search of 7 databases: ScienceDirect, Turkish Medline, PsycINFO, Ovid, Prequest, Google Scholar, and the ULAKBIM Turkish Medical Database. Five articles were identified as eligible for review.
