The only current strategy to test efficacy of novel interventions for sustained HIV control without antiretroviral therapy (ART) among people with HIV (PWH) is through an analytical treatment interruption (ATI). Inclusion of 'placebo' controls in ATIs poses ethical, logistical, and economic challenges. To understand viral dynamics and rates of post-treatment control (PTC) after ATI among PWH receiving either placebo or no intervention, we undertook an individual-participant data meta-analysis.

Disentangling the contributions from fluctuations in the nuclear overlap size (geometrical component) and other sources at a fixed size (intrinsic component) remains a challenge. This problem is addressed by measuring the mean, variance, and skewness of P([p_{T}]) in ^{208}Pb+^{208}Pb and ^{129}Xe+^{129}Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.

However, combining atomistic and coarse-grain resolutions, especially for coarse-grain force fields derived from top-down approaches, have not been well explored. In this study, we have implemented and tested a dual-resolution simulation approach to model globular proteins in atomistic detail (represented by the CHARMM36 model) with the surrounding solvent in Martini2 coarse-grain detail.

Uttarakhand is one of the Indian states circumscribed by the Himalayan ranges and has experienced a rise in the number of cloudburst catastrophes in the last few decades. These events cause substantial loss of life and property; however, very few studies have characterized these unpredictable cloudburst-induced flash floods in different regions of Uttarakhand.

Understanding the mechanisms of known geroprotective molecules reveals insights into metabolic networks regulating aging and aids in identifying additional geroprotectors. Here we present AgeXtend, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based multimodal geroprotector prediction platform that leverages bioactivity data of known geroprotectors.

The ability to predict the likelihood of sustained post-treatment control or non-control could minimize the time off antiretroviral therapy (ART) for those destined to not control and anticipate longer periods off ART for those destined to control.
Methods: Mathematical modeling and machine learning were used to characterize virologic predictors of long-term virologic control using viral kinetics data from several studies in which participants interrupted ART.
A search for the exclusive hadronic decays W^{±}→π^{±}γ, W^{±}→K^{±}γ, and W^{±}→ρ^{±}γ is performed using up to 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collisions recorded with the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV. If observed, these rare processes would provide a unique test bench for the quantum chromodynamics factorization formalism used to calculate cross sections at colliders. Additionally, at future colliders, these decays could offer a new way to measure the W boson mass through fully reconstructed decay products.

In SARS-CoV-2, although the RdRp is a multiprotein complex, the focus has been on the ligand binding catalytic core (nonstructural protein nsp12), and not the multiprotein functional dynamics. In this study, we focus on the conformational ensembles of the RdRp complex and their modulation by the presence of RNA, performing comprehensive microsecond-scale atomistic simulations of the apo- and RNA-bound complex.

Identifying the detailed conformational dynamics and interactions of this transcription factor, as well as its clinically important population variants will allow us to unravel its mode of action. In this study, we analyze the molecular interactions of the GATA3 transcription factor bound to dsDNA as well as three clinically important population variants by atomistic molecular dynamics simulations.

We consider two dimensions for investigation - early diagnosis of sepsis (EDS) and mortality prediction rate for sepsis patients (MPS). We concentrate on the clinical parameters on which sepsis diagnosis and prognosis are currently done, including customized treatment plans based on historical data of the patient.

However, the development of a single MOF capable of capturing and selectively converting CO has remained elusive due to a lack of a harmonious combination of selectivity, water stability, and reactivity. For example, Cu(I)-based MOFs are particularly effective for CO conversion, but they do not typically exhibit selective CO adsorption and often suffer from instability in the presence of air and moisture.

At 95% confidence level (CL), the upper limit on the production rate is 2.9 times the standard model (SM) prediction, with an expected limit of 2.

The dataset used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector. Two fiducial regions with an enhanced presence of events featuring two longitudinally polarized bosons are defined.

Influenza-like symptoms associated with TLR7-mediated immune activation have been reported in clinical trials of vesatolimod. Therefore, a broader understanding of the safety profile of vesatolimod and association with dose and mechanism of action will help inform future clinical studies.

We demonstrate that new physics can be probed in the rising part of the already measured m_{bℓ} distribution. To this end, we analyze a concrete supersymmetric scenario with a light right-handed top-squark, chargino and neutralino.

Statistical combinations of searches for charginos and neutralinos using various decay channels are performed using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Searches targeting pure-wino chargino pair production, pure-wino chargino-neutralino production, or Higgsino production decaying via standard model W, Z, or h bosons are combined to extend the mass reach to the produced supersymmetric particles by 30-100 GeV. The depth of the sensitivity of the original searches is also improved by the combinations, lowering the 95% C.

Here, we show that intestinal dendritic cells from a mouse model of experimental colitis exhibit significant levels of noncanonical NF-κB signaling, which activates the RelB:p52 heterodimer. Genetic inactivation of this pathway in DCs alleviates intestinal pathologies in mice suffering from colitis.
