The study aims to investigate the relationship between nurses' attitudes towards caring for dying patients and compassion levels. This cross-sectional study was conducted with the volunteer participation of 130 nurses working in various clinics in a hospital located in eastern Turkey between March and June 2019. Methods: This study, which is descriptive in nature, utilized the relational screening model. It was carried out between September 2016 and March 2017, with 387 people aged ≥65 years who were registered in Family Health Centers in Ağrı, a city located in eastern Turkey.
Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the relationship between nurses' views on spirituality and spiritual care and their level of burnout.
Method: This cross-sectional study used a convenience sample that comprised 118 nurses from one state hospital in eastern Turkey. The data were collected through questionnaires that were filled by the nurses individually, using a sociodemographic characteristics form, the Spirituality and Spiritual Care Rating Scale, and the Maslach Burnout Inventory.
