Background: Diaphorina citri is an insect vector of "Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus" (CLas), the gram-negative bacterial pathogen associated with citrus greening disease. Control measures rely on pesticides with negative impacts on the environment, natural ecosystems, and human and animal health. In contrast, gene-targeting methods have the potential to specifically target the vector species and/or reduce pathogen transmission.

In the context of an increasing interest for Pseudosuchia, we have compiled a Special Issue, comprising 14 collaborative studies that deepen our understanding of pseudosuchian evolution. These contributions range from the description of a new taxon to exhaustive reviews of thermometabolism, morphological adaptation, systematics, and detailed investigations into ontogeny, paleoneurology, paleohistology, and paleobiology. Through these papers, we explore the evolutionary history of pseudosuchian archosaurs, spotlighting their rise and diversification following the end-Permian mass extinction.

In this study, HPV16 genes' expressions were investigated in patient samples, along with the immunological response promoted by lymphocytes and monocytes in A549 cells transfected with HPV oncogenes and co-cultured with PBMC. Loneliness and social isolation amongst refugees resettled in high-income countries: A systematic review.

Refugees encounter multiple psychosocial stressors post-resettlement which increases their risk of developing a mental illness. Loneliness and social isolation are commonly reported in the refugee population and have been demonstrated to be associated with multiple physical and mental health comorbidities in the general population. However, no study to date has systematically reviewed how loneliness and social isolation may affect refugees who have resettled in high-income countries.

This study sought to determine the maximum time refrigerated blood and frozen plasma samples of the tambaqui, Colossoma macropomum, can be stored without affecting analysis. Samples from 12 fish were obtained, stored under refrigeration at 4 °C and evaluated after 0, 24, 48, 72, and 96 h, while samples from 14 fish were centrifuged, and the resulting plasma was frozen at -20 °C and then evaluated after 0, 8, 12, 16 and 20 weeks.
