Simultaneous extraarticular fracture of the base of the first metacarpal and dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb: A case report.

Double fracture-dislocations of the thumb are rare. Only a single case report of a simultaneous extra- articular fracture of the base of the first metacarpal and dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint has been previously reported. We report the second case report of this injury in a 20-year-old man.
