Rapid urban growth is a subject of worldwide interest due to environmental problems. Population growth, especially migration from rural to urban areas, leads to land use and land cover (LULCC) changes in urban centres. Therefore, LULCC and urban growth analyses are among the studies that will help decision-makers achieve better sustainable management and planning.

In individuals with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), CT-P13 has been shown to be effective and to have a well-tolerated safety profile. The aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term drug persistence, safety, and efficacy of infliximab biosimilar CT-P13 in patients with AS undergoing first-line (1st-line) and later (≥2nd-line) treatment in clinical practice.

In the context of obstetric care, it is associated with a range of positive clinical and social outcomes for mother and baby. Extant communication frameworks and respectful maternity care (RMC) guidelines emphasize the importance of effective communication during intrapartum care.

The WHW Exemplars project uses robust quantitative approaches to identify best-performing low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs) in improving WHW across the entire life course.
Methods: Using the life course approach, we created a list of 32 cross-sectional indicators belonging to nine dimensions based on a conceptual framework to assess progress in WHW.
We have previously shown that CRP < 2.9 mg/L is a better predictor of endoscopic remission (ER) than CRP < 5 mg/L in ulcerative colitis (UC). Here, we prospectively evaluate CRP and FCP cut-offs and compare them in predicting ER and histological remission (HR) in UC.

The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of IRD in patients whose initial clinical manifestation was non-infectious uveitis.
Methods: The study included adult patients diagnosed as having noninfectious uveitis in the department of ophthalmology and referred to rheumatology for further investigation of potential rheumatic diseases as underlying etiology of uveitis.
The surface of the skin is continually exposed to pro-inflammatory stimuli; however, it is unclear why it is not constantly inflamed due to this exposure. Here, we showed undifferentiated keratinocytes residing in the deep epidermis could trigger a strong inflammatory response due to their high expression of pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) that detect damage or pathogens. As keratinocytes differentiated, they migrated outward toward the surface of the skin and decreased their PRR expression, which led to dampened immune responses.

HPD is characterized by an unexpected and fast progression in tumor volume and poor survival. There is no standardized definition for HPD and clinicopathological variables associated with HPD are unclear.

Here, we report a 41-year-old female patient with SSc who presented with SRC and concurrent thrombotic microangiopathy. Her condition persisted despite conventional treatments such as plasma exchange and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blockade.

To evaluate whether the development of recurrent PSC (rPSC) is associated with cholestasis soon after LT, we studied whether changes in hepatic biochemistry within the first 12 months were linked with the development of rPSC and graft loss.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis of 158 transplant recipients with PSC in Canada, and 549 PSC transplant recipients from the United Kingdom.
Diabetes retinopathy (DR) is a critical clinical disease with that causes irreversible visual damage in adults, and may even lead to permanent blindness in serious cases. Early identification and treatment of DR is critical. Our aim was to train and externally validate a prediction nomogram for early prediction of DR.

Patients And Methods: A total of 811 AS patients registered in the TURKBIO registry database between 2011 and 2019 were categorized according to their age at the time of entry into the registry and assigned to one of two groups: young patients, defined as <60 years of age (n=610), and those aged ≥60 years (n=201) were recorded as elderly patients. Demographic, clinical, and laboratory characteristics, along with disease activity markers and other follow-up parameters, as well as current and prior treatments, were electronically recorded during each visit using open-source software.
Background: To evaluate the utility of genetic testing for etiology-specific diagnosis (ESD) in infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) with a step-based diagnostic approach in the next-generation sequencing (NGS) era.
Methods: The study cohort consisted of 314 patients with IESS, followed by the Pediatric Neurology Division of Ege University Hospital between 2005 and 2021. The ESD was evaluated using a step-based approach: step I (clinical phenomenology), step II (neuroimaging), step III (metabolic screening), and step IV (genetic testing).
Clinical data on the use of tumour necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi) in late-onset ankylosing spondylitis (LoAS) are limited. The present study aimed to evaluate efficacy, safety, and treatment adherence associated with the initial use of TNFi therapy in biologic naive patients diagnosed with LoAS. Patients whose age of onset was ≥ 45 years and < 45 years were classified as having LoAS and YoAS, respectively, based on the age of symptom onset.

There is uncertainty about the prognostic and predictive value of HER2-low status and whether HER2-low BC is an individual biologic subtype. In this study, we aimed to investigate the prognostic effect of HER2 expression status on survival in mBC patients treated with first-line ET plus CDK 4/6i.
