Introduction: timely initiation of the first antenatal care visit is still a major public health problem in Ethiopia, especially in Amhara Region. This study assessed the prevalence of timely initiation of first ANC visit and its associated factors among pregnant women in transformed and non-transformed districts, Awi zone, Amhara Region, North-west Ethiopia.

Methods: a community-based comparative cross-sectional study was conducted from November-December 2020, among 748 women.

Background: Client satisfaction reflects the gap between the expected service and the experience of the service, from the client's point of view. Maternal satisfaction with delivery services affects the selection of birthplaces and helps to identify gaps between actual health care and desired health care outcomes. There is a dearth of evidence on the factors of client satisfaction towards delivery services in the Somali region.
