Climate models for the 21st century project further reduction in the warm season precipitation and more frequent droughts across Mexico. In the possible scenario of enhanced aridity from global warming, the δO (-10.6 to -6.

Here, we applied genomic-based simulations for exploring tri-trophic interactions among the sap-feeding insect whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), its host-plants, and symbiotic bacteria. The simplicity of this ecosystem allows capturing the interacting organisms (based on genomic data) and the environmental content (based on metabolomics data).

The study aims to differentiate various hydrogeochemical processes responsible for disparities in water chemistry. Groundwater samples were collected from 66 sites during the two major seasons: pre-monsoon and post-monsoon.

The quaternary alluvium aquifer system is a significant water resource of southeast coastal Tamil Nadu that provides water supplies for industrial, agriculture, and domestic utilities. Hydrogeochemical investigations were attempted to analyze groundwater-saline water interactions for which a total of three hundred and sixty samples representing surface water, pore water, and groundwater samples collected from three significant locations (location A, B, and C) and analyzed for major ion concentrations.

Species of the genus (Geraniaceae) harbor medicinal indications and substances known from folklore and scientific research. Hairy stork's bill ( L'Hér), is a small hemicryptophyte that inhabits arid southeast Mediterranean regions.

Genomic-based metabolic simulations are being increasingly applied for exploring metabolic capacities, considering different environments and different combinations of microorganisms. NetMet is a web-based tool and a software package for predicting the metabolic performances of microorganisms and their corresponding combinations in user-defined environments.

Objective: To present and discuss the findings related to medicinal plants with confirmed data on active compounds and/or clear mode of action.
Methods: We undertook a structured search of bibliography of peer-reviewed research literature using key words and a focused review question.
There is considerable evidence in the literature that beneficial rhizospheric microbes can alter plant morphology, enhance plant growth, and increase mineral content. Of late, there is a surge to understand the impact of the microbiome on plant health. Recent research shows the utilization of novel sequencing techniques to identify the microbiome in model systems such as Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) and maize (Zea mays).
