Features of a chaotic attractor in a quasiperiodically driven nonlinear oscillator.

Transition to chaos via the destruction of a two-dimensional torus is studied numerically using an example of the Hénon map and the Toda oscillator under quasiperiodic forcing and also experimentally using an example of a quasi-periodically excited RL-diode circuit. A feature of chaotic dynamics in these systems is the fact that the chaotic attractor in them has an additional zero Lyapunov exponent, which strictly follows from the structure of mathematical models. In the process of research, the influence of feedback is studied, in which the frequency of one of the harmonics of external forcing becomes dependent on a dynamic variable.

Gasoline identifier based on SH0 plate acoustic waves.

The present paper is devoted to the development of gasoline identifier based on zero order shear-horizontal (SH0) acoustic wave propagating in piezoelectric plate. It has been found that the permittivity of gasoline is increased when its octane number rises. The development of such identifier is experimentally demonstrated to be possible.

[Prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients undergoing aortic-iliac reconstructions by correction of inflammation and endotoxemia].

There were presented the results of examination and treatment of 130 patients with atherosclerosis. Objective is to study the role of atorvastatin in correction of inflammation, endotoxemia and prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients with atherosclerosis undergoing aorto-iliac reconstruction. There were observed initial and postoperative activation of inflammation, endotoxemia in patients with multifocal atherosclerosis.
