The frequency of menorrhagia and bleeding disorders in university students.

Study Objective: Menorrhagia is an important health problem in women of reproductive age. The aims of this study were to assess the prevalence of menorrhagia and hemostatic abnormalities associated with menorrhagia in university students.

Methods: The pictorial blood assessment chart (PBAC) was used to identify students with menorrhagia.

We aimed to scrutinize the risk factors for thrombosis in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated with the Berlin-Frankfurt-Münster 95 protocol. The study population was 82 children younger than 16 years of age. The children were followed up for 10 years until January 2007.
