- - The study aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile and clinical findings of anterior uveitis (AU) cases in a tertiary facility in Japan by reviewing the records of 275 patients and their eye conditions.
- - Findings revealed that acute AU was the most common type (21.8%), followed closely by herpetic AU (20.7%), with a significant portion of patients experiencing unilateral AU and impaired visual acuity.
- - Older patients (over 60) represented 40.4% of the cases, particularly those with herpetic AU, which was associated with higher intraocular pressure compared to acute AU, even though visual acuity impairment was comparable across both groups.

Results: A 78-year-old man complained of blurred vision and floaters in the right eye 2 days after receiving BNT162b2 mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine and was referred to our hospital with worsening visual acuity after 7 days.
