[A case of locally advanced sigmoid colon cancer curatively resected after neoadjuvant chemotherapy with FOLFIRI plus panitumumab].

A 72-year-old woman having abdominal pain and high fever was diagnosed with KRAS wild-type sigmoid colon cancer, invading the urinary bladder and uterus with a pelvic abscess. Considering the difficulty of curative resection, we first performed sigmoid colostomy and abscess drainage. Remarkable tumor regression was indicated by CT and colonoscopy after 1 course of FOLFIRI and 5 courses of FOLFIRI+panitumumab.
