Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder that frequently affects women of reproductive age. In PCOS, the incidence of thyroid diseases has increased in addition to reproductive and metabolic problems. Effects of Chronic Suppression or Oversuppression of Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone on Psychological Symptoms and Sleep Quality in Patients with Differentiated Thyroid Cancer.

In differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), the standard treatment includes total thyroidectomy and lifetime levothyroxine (LT4) replacement. However, long-term exogenous LT4 has become controversial due to the adverse effects of oversuppression. The study included 191 patients (aged 18-76 years) with a prospective diagnosis of non-metastatic DTC and 79 healthy individuals.

Unlabelled: Vitamin D intake over the recommended dose is usually associated with high serum 25(OH)D levels and generally not associated with symptoms of hypercalcemia. High doses of cholecalciferol need to be avoided to protect against vitamin D toxicity and related complications. Strict adherence to the clinical guidelines for treating vitamin D deficiency can ensure safe and effective treatment.

Markers of Metabolic Syndrome in Patients with Pituitary Adenoma: A Case Series of 303 Patients.

To assess the demographic characteristics and hormonal status of patients who presented to our clinic with pituitary adenoma and to demonstrate the presence, prevalence, and relationship of metabolic syndrome parameters in these patients. The study included 303 patients with known or newly diagnosed pituitary adenoma and 52 age- and sex-matched healthy controls. The patients were classified into 3 groups; acromegaly (ACRO) (n=54),prolactinoma (PRLoma) (n=163), and non-functional adenoma (NFA) (n=86).

Anemia in Patients with Diabetic Foot Ulcer: Effects on Diabetic Microvascular Complications and Related Conditions.

Objective: We aimed to investigate the etiology and prevalence of anemia in patients with diabetic foot ulcers and the relationship between both microvascular complications and related conditions and anemia.

The pathophysiological mechanism of hypertensive retinopathy (HR) is not fully established. Elevated blood pressure alone does not fully account for the extent of retinopathy; other pathogenic mechanisms may be involved, such as increased oxidative stress.
