Synthesis, crystal structure and phase transitions of novel hybrid perovskite: bis(1,2-diaminopropane) di-μ-chloro-bis[diaquadichloromanganate(II)] dichloride.

Single crystals of bis(1,2-diaminepropane) di-μ-chloro-bis[diaquadichloromanganate(II)] dichloride have been prepared by evaporation from ethanoic solution. The triclinic X-ray crystal structure is built as layers of centrosymmetric dimers of [Mn(Cl)(HO)] octahedra and 1,2-diaminopropane. The inorganic part consists of Mn octahedra sharing one edge and distributed in the basal ac plane along the a direction.

Crystal structure, vibrational spectroscopy and optical properties of a one-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite of [NHCHCH(NH)CH]BiCl.

In this work the crystal structure by single crystal X-ray measurement and optical properties of 1D propane-1,2-diammonium pentachlorobismuthate [NHCHCH(NH)CH]BiCl organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite are presented. It is prepared by mixing ethanolic solution of equimolar ratios (1:1) of its basic components. The title compound crystallized in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pca2 with Z = 8 molecules per unit cell.
