Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy: Role of Cardiac MRI.

We present a case of Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy (TC) which is a non ischemic cardiomyopathy. It is stress related and also known as broken heart syndrome. The patient presented to our emergency department with symptoms of chest pain and breathlessness.

Imaging Findings of Lipomatous Hypertrophy of the Interventricular Septum: A Case Report.

Primary cardiac tumors are rare. We report a case of lipomatous hypertrophy of the interventricular septum in a healthy, asymptomatic, 16 year old female, diagnosed initially by echocardiogram. Non contrast Computed tomography (CT) and Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) were also performed to confirm the diagnosis of this rarely reported condition.

Radiological Diagnosis of a Rare Premature Aging Genetic Disorder: Progeria (Hutchinson-Gilford Syndrome).

Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS) is a rare disease with a combination of short stature, bone abnormalities, premature ageing, and skin changes. Though the physical appearance of these patients is characteristic, there is little emphasis on the characteristic radiological features. In this paper, we report a 16-year-old boy with clinical and radiological features of this rare genetic disorder.
