Introduction: We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of 3.0-T multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) in preoperative staging of prostate cancer (PCa) and its influence on the extent of resection during endoscopic radical prostatectomy (ERP) among cancer risk groups.
Material And Methods: The data of 154 patients with PCa in whom mpMRI was performed prior to ERP between 2011 and 2015 were included.
Lymph node dissection (LND) performed at radical cystectomy (RC) has therapeutic and staging significance. However, the extent of LND remains controversial. The aim of this study was to analyze surgical patterns and results of LND in a contemporary series of patients with bladder cancer.

Introduction: Extended pelvic lymph node dissection (ePLND) is advised to complement radical prostatectomy (RP) in intermediate and high risk prostate cancer patients.
Aim: To assess the risk of nodal involvement in patients subjected to laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and to characterize the group of patients with lymph node (LN) metastases.
Material And Methods: Data of patients subjected to laparoscopic radical prostatectomy with ePLND between February 2011 and June 2013 were analyzed.
The chronic nephropathy is often present in pts with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In the study the authors retrospectively analyzed the clinical course of the disease and outcomes of subsequent dialysotherapy in a group of pts with RA and end-stage renal disease ESRD. During last 5 years ESRD connected with RA was found in 10 (8 F, 2 M) pts out of 325 chronically dialyzed pts (peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis) representing 3,1% of pts.
