Presented is a methodology to explicitly identify and account for cloud-free satellite measurements below a sensor's measurement detection level. These low signals can often be found in satellite observations of minor atmospheric species with weak spectral signals (e.g.

Method: We surveyed 322 Men's Sheds users in Australia on 4 quality of life domains and their willingness to take health advice offered at the sheds.
Analysis of seismograms from a magnitude 3.9 seismic event on 6 August 2007 in central Utah reveals an anomalous radiation pattern that is contrary to that expected for a tectonic earthquake and which is dominated by an implosive component. The results show that the seismic event is best modeled as a shallow underground collapse.

Due to the small amount of mask undercutting associated with X-ray lithography and the high energy X-ray beam used during photoresist patterning, deep structures with sharp and smooth sidewalls have been prepared. The Ni-electroforms produced devices with minimal replication errors using hot-embossing at a turn around time of approximately 5 min per device.

An immobilization bed for the DNA purification was produced by exposing a posted microchannel to UV radiation, which induced a surface photooxidation reaction, resulting in the production of carboxylate groups. The immobilization microchannel contained microposts to increase the loading level of DNAs to improve signal intensity without the need for preconcentration.

The detector consisted of a pair of Pt wires (127 microm diameter) with an end-to-end spacing of approximately 20 microm and situated within the fluidic channel. The waveform applied to the electrode pair was a bipolar pulse with a frequency of 5.
