Necrotizing sarcoid granulomatosis (NSG), now referred to as "sarcoidosis with NSG pattern," is an uncommon variant of sarcoidosis. NSG is characterized by a trio of features: sarcoid granulomas, vasculitis, and extensive areas of necrosis. Symptoms can include cough, fever, chest pain, and dyspnea, typically presenting as either solitary or multiple lung nodules or masses.

In 448 asymptomatic adults who underwent CAC measurements with more than one-year intervals, CAC progression was assessed according to age, sex, variable traditional risk factors (diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and smoking), and initial CAC score (0, 0.1-100, and >100).

CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy (PTNB) plays a key role in the diagnosis of pulmonary abnormalities. Although the procedure is considered safe and effective, there exists a potential for complications, such as pneumothorax, hemorrhage, hemoptysis, air embolism, and tumor seeding. However, pneumatoceles after CT-guided PTNB have been rarely reported.

Myxofibrosarcoma is one of the most common soft tissue sarcomas in elderly patients. It often occurs in the extremities, trunk, and retroperitoneum. However, it is rarely observed in the mediastinum, and only a few cases have been reported in the literature.

Atypical features of PMF have been described in some reports; however, these reports only introduced their cases with a short literature review. We report two cases of solitary PMFs with no underlying simple pneumoconiosis or rapid growth at atypical location that were mistaken for lung cancer.

Primary pulmonary malignant melanoma is an extremely rare type of melanoma. The radiologic features of primary pulmonary malignant melanoma are nonspecific; however, it almost always presents as a well-demarcated round or lobulated solitary solid nodule or mass. Herein, we report the case of a 78-year-old male with primary pulmonary malignant melanoma that was mistaken for primary pulmonary adenocarcinoma with lepidic growth and was seen as bilateral multiple subsolid nodules on CT.

However, studies demonstrating an association between perfusion parameters derived from DCE-MRI and histopathologic characteristics are limited to a small set of histopathologic factors, and the results are inconsistent.
Purpose: To evaluate the relationship between DCE-MRI perfusion parameters and common histopathologic tumor characteristics used to predict angiogenesis and determine prognosis in breast cancer.
