A newly designed heterogenized catalyst that incorporates silver(I) ions with 2-(dicyclohexylphosphaneyl)acetaldehyde (PCy aldehyde) into amino-functionalized chromium(III) terephthalate is developed. Silver(I) ions were robustly immobilized on the amino-functionalized chromium(III) terephthalate, which contains an imine bond formed by the reaction with PCy aldehyde. The Ag(I) ion is coordinated with the phosphine in the imine group to create MIL-101-AP(Ag).

Among these three Al-MOFs, KMF-1 demonstrated the highest selectivity for CH/CO separation (6.31), primarily owing to its superior CH uptake (7.

Therefore, the development of crack sensors with high accuracy and resolution and cracks detection method are important. In this study, the crack sensors were fabricated, and the crack locations were detected with the electrical signal of the crack sensor.

Therefore, it is essential to manufacture sensors that can react sensitively to the micro deformations of structures. Numerous cracks were intentionally generated to improve the sensitivity of the proposed sensor, and an increase in the gap of the crack was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observation.

This study aimed to evaluate the soundness of solid-state welded steels. STS 430F alloy with a rod type was selected as experimental material, and the friction welding was conducted at a rotation speed of 2,000 RPM and upset length of 3 mm. The application of friction welding on STS 430F rods led to significant grain refinement in the welded zone (1.

Brittle failure of high toughness steel structures tends to occur after ductile crack initiation/propagation. Damages to steel structures were reported in the Hanshin Great Earthquake. Several brittle failures were observed in beam-to-column connection zones with geometrical discontinuity.
